Medieval village economy simulation — up to 1000 LLM agents across multiple villages, driven by supply chains, hunger, tool degradation and market pressure.
This project simulates a medieval village economy with up to 1000 AI agents across multiple villages. It allows researchers and economists to explore how complex economic behaviors emerge from basic individual needs and environmental constraints, without explicit instructions. You provide initial agent profiles and world settings, and the simulation generates a dynamic economy driven by hunger, tool use, supply chains, and market pressures.
Use this if you are a researcher or economist interested in agent-based modeling to understand emergent economic behaviors in complex, constrained environments.
Not ideal if you're looking for a simple, pre-defined economic model or a tool for highly specific policy analysis with pre-programmed agent strategies.
