A unified open format for agent-ready projects across tools, teams, and platforms.
This project helps developers and development teams working with multiple AI coding agents to standardize how their projects are described. Instead of maintaining separate configuration files for each agent tool (like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot), you use a single `.agents/` folder. This folder defines the project's context, capabilities, and permissions in a way any ACS-compatible agent can understand, streamlining setup and ensuring consistent behavior across different AI environments.
Use this if your development team uses various AI coding agents across different tools and platforms and you want a unified way to configure them for your projects.
Not ideal if you only use one AI coding agent for all your projects or primarily work without AI assistance, as the standardization benefits won't apply.
