It creates a private, encrypted tunnel so that these agents can safely access your local files, run commands, or control your local web browser, making your computer an extension of the agent's environment. This is for users who manage or develop AI agents and need them to interact with their local machine without exposing sensitive services to the public internet.
Use this if you have AI agents on a remote server that need to securely perform tasks on your local macOS, Windows, or Linux machine, such as controlling a local browser or accessing local files.
Not ideal if your AI agents operate entirely within the server environment and do not require interaction with your local machine or if you don't use OpenClaw agents.
