Openlyne is a REST API designed for programmatically sending and receiving WhatsApp messages, with a focus on serving developers and businesses.
Bearer token authentication with webhook support for receiving messages, plus multi-message type handling (text, images, documents, interactive buttons). Built on REST endpoints with SDKs/tutorials for Python and JavaScript, currently supporting seven African countries with alpha-stage rate limits of 1 message/second and 10,000 messages/month.
