Agent-ready CLI for the USPTO Open Data Portal API
This tool helps intellectual property professionals, patent attorneys, and researchers efficiently access and organize patent information from the USPTO. It allows you to search for patents, retrieve detailed application data, and download entire bundles of patent documents and their associated XML. You input search criteria or patent identifiers and receive structured data or downloaded files for your analysis.
Use this if you need to programmatically search, retrieve, and download USPTO patent data, file wrappers, and XML content directly from your terminal for analysis or integration into other systems.
Not ideal if you prefer a graphical user interface for browsing patent data or only need to perform occasional, simple patent searches that are well-served by the USPTO's website.
