This VS Code extension helps developers leverage their existing GitHub Copilot subscription with any application that can talk to OpenAI's API. It takes your code-related prompts and sends them to Copilot's models, then outputs responses that look just like those from OpenAI. Any developer or MLOps engineer who uses Copilot for coding assistance but wants to integrate its power into custom tools or workflows can use this.
Use this if you want to use GitHub Copilot's language models through a standard OpenAI-compatible API, allowing integration with various programming languages and tools that support OpenAI client libraries.
Not ideal if you do not have a GitHub Copilot subscription or if your primary need is for non-code-related AI tasks that Copilot is not designed for.
