Annotation-driven bash CLI framework — flags, help, and tab completion for free

28
/ 100
Experimental

This tool helps developers quickly build command-line interfaces (CLIs) for their Bash scripts. You write ordinary Bash functions and add simple annotations to automatically get features like flag parsing, useful help text, and tab completion. It takes your existing Bash scripts and turns them into user-friendly CLI tools for system administrators or other power users.

Use this if you are a developer building Bash scripts and want to give them a professional, easy-to-use command-line interface without writing a lot of boilerplate code.

Not ideal if you need a CLI in a language other than Bash or require very complex, non-standard parsing logic for your commands and flags.
