About mcp-simple-timeserver

andybrandt/mcp-simple-timeserver

Simple MCP to give Claude ability to check current time as well as know when holidays are, what is the time distance between dates etc.

This helps Claude-based AI assistants understand and work with real-world time and dates. It lets Claude look up the current time anywhere in the world, calculate durations between dates (including business days), and identify holidays. You can ask Claude questions like "What's the local time in Tokyo?" or "How many business days until Christmas in Sydney?" and get accurate, context-aware answers.
