This toolkit helps computer vision researchers and engineers record and organize RGB-D (color and depth) video datasets from many different cameras and depth sensors on Linux. It takes live video streams from a variety of hardware like Intel RealSense or OpenNI cameras and outputs organized datasets, which can then be used for tasks like object segmentation or other computer vision experiments.
Use this if you need to capture synchronized color and depth video data from various sensors and prepare it for computer vision research or application development.
Not ideal if you are looking for a plug-and-play solution for general video recording, a tool for image editing, or if your work is not primarily focused on computer vision dataset acquisition.
