YOLOv8-based detection of helmet rule violations from real traffic video data.
This project helps traffic management and law enforcement agencies automatically identify motorcyclists and their passengers who are not wearing helmets from surveillance video footage. It takes raw traffic videos as input and outputs processed videos or images with helmet violations highlighted. City planners, traffic police, or road safety researchers would use this.
