[ICCV 2025] Superpowering Open-Vocabulary Object Detectors for X-ray Vision
This project helps security screening professionals identify a wider range of items in X-ray scans, even if they haven't been specifically trained on those objects. It takes existing X-ray images and general object detection models as input, then outputs enhanced detection capabilities for unseen items without needing new labeled X-ray data. Security analysts, baggage screeners, and customs officers would find this tool beneficial.
Use this if you need to improve the accuracy and breadth of object detection in X-ray security screening without extensive re-training or acquiring vast new labeled X-ray datasets.
Not ideal if your primary use case is not X-ray imaging or if you have ample labeled X-ray data for every possible object you want to detect.
