A toolkit for detecting and tracking crabs in the field.
This toolkit helps ecologists and marine biologists automatically identify and follow individual crabs in video footage collected in their natural habitat. You provide video files and a trained detection model, and it outputs analyzed videos with crabs highlighted, along with data on their movement patterns. This is ideal for researchers studying crab behavior, population dynamics, or environmental impact.
Use this if you need to reliably detect and track multiple crabs across video recordings to analyze their behavior and movements in the field.
Not ideal if you are working with species other than crabs or if you need to perform real-time, in-situ tracking without post-processing video footage.
