Detection and Reconstruction of Transparent Objects with Infrared Projection-based RGB-D Cameras

This helps robotic systems accurately "see" and understand the 3D shapes of transparent objects like glasses, bottles, or plastic containers, which are typically invisible to standard infrared projection RGB-D cameras. It takes in infrared camera images from your robot's sensors and outputs a detailed 3D model of the transparent object, including internal cavities. This is useful for anyone designing or operating robots that interact with delicate or common transparent items.

Use this if your robotic manipulation system struggles to detect or precisely grasp transparent objects because its RGB-D camera can't perceive them accurately.

Not ideal if you primarily need to identify opaque objects or only require simple 2D detection of transparent items without their full 3D volumetric shape.
