Remote sensing elevation (3D) change detection with deep learning

21
/ 100
Experimental

This tool helps remote sensing professionals automatically identify and map changes in human-made structures over time, including both horizontal shifts and changes in elevation. It takes two optical satellite images of the same area taken at different times as input and produces a map highlighting what has changed and by how much in 2D and 3D. Surveyors, urban planners, and environmental monitoring specialists can use this.

Use this if you need to detect precise elevation changes in urban or built environments from satellite imagery without relying on pre-existing digital surface models (DSMs).

Not ideal if you only need to identify broad land cover changes without specific elevation information or if you lack bitemporal optical images.
