This project automatically identifies and reads license plate numbers from images or video. You provide images or video footage containing vehicles, and it outputs a list of detected license plates with their recognized numbers. This is useful for professionals in traffic management, law enforcement, or parking enforcement who need to log or track vehicles.
Use this if you need an automated way to extract license plate information from a collection of images or surveillance video, especially for diverse international plate formats.
Not ideal if you require real-time, high-speed processing on live camera feeds without any local setup or if you need to identify non-vehicle-related text in images.
