Morphological features from images and masks made easy.

Established

This tool helps life scientists, particularly those working with microscopy images, to extract detailed morphological features from their imaging data programmatically. You input image files and corresponding cell or object masks, and it outputs a table of quantitative measurements describing each object's size, shape, intensity, and texture. This is ideal for researchers who need to analyze large batches of images without manual intervention.

Available on PyPI.

Use this if you are a scientist needing to automatically extract detailed morphological and intensity features from cell or tissue images to quantify cellular phenotypes or responses.

Not ideal if you prefer a graphical user interface for image analysis or need to implement highly specialized, non-standard image processing steps not covered by CellProfiler's feature set.
