alexlib/pyptv
Python GUI for the OpenPTV library, `liboptv`
This project provides a graphical interface for OpenPTV, helping you analyze object movement in 3D space from multiple camera views. You input a series of images or video frames from synchronized cameras, and it outputs 3D trajectories of particles or objects. This tool is ideal for researchers and engineers in fluid dynamics, biomechanics, or material science who need to track precise movements.
Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need to reconstruct and analyze the 3D paths of small particles or objects captured by multiple cameras.
Not ideal if you are looking for a simple 2D object tracking solution or do not have multi-camera data.
