This project utilizes YOLOv8 for the purpose of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) in Iranian car license plates.
This project helps with automatically reading Iranian car license plates from images or video feeds. It takes an image of a vehicle and identifies the license plate characters, outputting the recognized plate number. This would be used by traffic management personnel, parking enforcement, or security teams in Iran.
