clEsperanto/pyclesperanto
GPU-accelerated Image Processing library for Python
This tool helps scientists and researchers quickly process large scientific images, like microscope scans, by using your computer's graphics card (GPU). You input raw image data, and it outputs processed images, enabling tasks like identifying and counting cells or objects much faster than traditional methods. It's designed for anyone working with biomedical or materials science images who needs to accelerate their analysis.
Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need to perform common image processing tasks like blurring, segmentation, or 3D analysis on large datasets and want to significantly speed up your workflow using GPU acceleration.
Not ideal if you primarily work with standard photography, simple image editing, or if you don't have access to a dedicated graphics card.
