edamontology/edam-bioimaging
An ontology of imaging and related techniques and technologies, image processing and analysis, image data and formats, within bio- and other sciences.
This project provides a structured vocabulary for categorizing bioimaging techniques, data, and analysis methods. It takes concepts from bioimaging and related fields and organizes them into a clear, standardized ontology. Researchers, facility managers, and data scientists working with biological images can use this to precisely describe their work and data.
Use this if you need a common, structured language to describe bioimaging experiments, datasets, image processing steps, or related technologies.
Not ideal if you are looking for software to process images, or a database to store your imaging data directly.
