google-research-datasets/Objectron

Objectron is a dataset of short, object-centric video clips. In addition, the videos also contain AR session metadata including camera poses, sparse point-clouds and planes. In each video, the camera moves around and above the object and captures it from different views. Each object is annotated with a 3D bounding box. The 3D bounding box describes the object’s position, orientation, and dimensions. The dataset contains about 15K annotated video clips and 4M annotated images in the following categories: bikes, books, bottles, cameras, cereal boxes, chairs, cups, laptops, and shoes

This dataset provides short video clips of common objects like bikes, chairs, and shoes, captured from multiple angles. Each video includes detailed information about the object's 3D position and orientation, as well as camera movement and surrounding environment data. Researchers and developers working on augmented reality applications or training computer vision models for 3D object detection will find this useful.

2,325 stars.

Use this if you need a large, diverse collection of real-world object videos with precise 3D annotations and AR metadata to train or evaluate machine learning models for 3D understanding.

Not ideal if you are looking for a simple image dataset or if your primary focus is on 2D object detection without needing depth and pose information.
