A dog finding website application for the 2019 HackMerced event where we use image recognition. A user takes a photo of the dog and compares it to several other photos of the same breed within vicinity.
This platform helps pet owners and good samaritans connect lost dogs with their families. You can submit details and photos of a lost or found dog, which then appears on a gallery and an interactive map. Pet owners, finders, and animal rescuers use this to quickly browse or search for specific dogs and get in touch with relevant parties.
Use this if you've lost your dog, found a stray, or want to help reunite pets in your community.
Not ideal if you're looking for a platform with advanced features like automated breed recognition or direct messaging, as those are planned future enhancements.
