This project provides a simulated environment for testing autonomous mobile robot algorithms. It takes in robot control commands and outputs sensor data and odometry, simulating how a robot would perceive and move through various real-world scenarios. It's designed for robotics engineers and researchers developing navigation, mapping, and sensor fusion solutions.
Use this if you need to develop and test robot autonomy algorithms in a realistic, diverse set of simulated environments without needing physical hardware.
Not ideal if you are looking for a pre-built, ready-to-deploy navigation stack for a physical robot, or if you don't use the ROS2 framework.
