This repository contains the source code for my paper on masked face segmentation. Utilizing PyTorch, we developed a deep learning segmentation network to accurately identify mask regions on faces.
This project helps systems that recognize faces work better when people are wearing masks. It takes an image of a masked face and outputs a detailed map highlighting exactly where the mask is located. This enables face recognition systems to disregard the mask area and improve their accuracy. This is useful for computer vision engineers or researchers developing robust face recognition technologies.
