Real-Time Oriented Object Detection Transformer in Remote Sensing Images (TGRS 2026)
This project helps remote sensing analysts and geospatial intelligence professionals quickly identify and locate specific objects in satellite or aerial imagery. It takes raw remote sensing images and outputs precise, oriented bounding boxes around objects like ships, vehicles, or buildings, even when they are rotated at unusual angles. This allows for rapid inventory, tracking, and analysis of ground features.
Use this if you need to automatically detect and delineate objects in high-resolution satellite or aerial imagery in real-time, especially when those objects appear at various orientations.
Not ideal if your primary need is object detection in standard, ground-level photography or video where objects are typically upright.
