Wrong way vehicle detection from traffic footage using yolov5 and centroid tracking algorithm
This project helps traffic engineers and road safety personnel automatically detect vehicles traveling in the wrong direction on one-way roads. It takes surveillance video footage as input and outputs a processed video highlighting wrong-way vehicles, along with data for analysis. This is ideal for monitoring high-risk road sections to improve safety and response times.
