This transformation makes complex bibliographic information machine-readable and easily searchable, enabling the creation of powerful search interfaces and APIs. It is designed for library system administrators or IT professionals managing large catalog datasets.
Use this if you need to convert your Alma MARC-XML catalog records into Linked Data (JSON-LD) for indexing in Elasticsearch, to power a public search portal, or integrate with other systems.
Not ideal if you are looking for a simple, out-of-the-box solution to manage a small library catalog without specialized IT knowledge.
