martenlienen/generative-turbulence
Generative turbulence model TurbDiff as proposed in "From Zero to Turbulence: Generative Modeling for 3D Flow Simulation", ICLR 2024
This project helps researchers simulate and analyze complex 3D fluid flows, specifically turbulence, using advanced generative models. It takes in OpenFOAM configuration files or raw simulation data and outputs structured HDF5 files of 3D flow fields (velocity, pressure) and related boundary information. It is designed for computational fluid dynamics researchers and engineers working on detailed flow simulations.
Use this if you are a researcher needing to generate, run, and process 3D turbulence simulations with tools to manage OpenFOAM configurations and outputs, especially for deep learning applications.
Not ideal if you need a simple, off-the-shelf fluid dynamics solver for basic scenarios without advanced data processing or generative modeling needs.
