AnĂ¡lisis Computacional de Eventos de Protesta (ACEP). Computer-Aided Protest Event Analysis (CAPEA)
This tool helps researchers and analysts automatically identify and understand protest events from large collections of news articles. You input a corpus of journalistic texts, and it outputs data on word frequencies, mentions, intensity of protest, and visual summaries of conflict trends over time. This is for social scientists, political analysts, and journalists tracking social unrest.
Use this if you need to systematically analyze protest events described in text-based news archives without manually reading every article.
Not ideal if your primary need is general-purpose natural language processing outside the domain of protest event analysis or if you prefer a non-R environment.
