A Sample Java Microservices application to demo the capabilities of Amazon Q Developer agent for Code Transformation.
This project helps software developers efficiently upgrade their existing Java microservice applications, specifically those built with Java 8 or Java 11. It takes legacy Java code as input and, with the help of Amazon Q Developer, produces updated Java 17 or Java 21 code, along with new dependencies and integrated CI/CD pipelines. Software engineers responsible for maintaining and modernizing Java applications will find this useful.
Use this if you are a software developer needing to modernize an existing Java 8 or Java 11 microservice to a newer Java version like Java 17 or Java 21, and you want to integrate this upgrade process into your GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD pipeline.
