This is a fork of the official OpenAI Node.js library that has been adapted to support the Azure OpenAI API. The objective of this library is to minimize the changes required to migrate from the official OpenAI library to Azure OpenAI or revert back to OpenAI.
This library helps Node.js developers use Azure OpenAI's powerful AI models in their applications. If you're already using OpenAI's official Node.js library, you can switch to Azure OpenAI by simply updating your configuration with Azure details. It allows your existing code to work with Azure OpenAI, taking your OpenAI API calls and routing them through Azure's infrastructure.

Use this if you are a Node.js developer who needs to migrate an existing application using OpenAI's official library to Azure OpenAI with minimal code changes.
Not ideal if you are a developer using a language other than Node.js or if your application requires image generation through the Azure OpenAI API, as this is not yet supported.
