ToolBridge: An Open-Source Dataset to Equip LLMs with External Tool Capabilities
This dataset helps equip large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4o with the ability to use external tools for tasks like calculations and data processing. It takes existing dialogue data and augments it by inserting clear instructions for when and how an LLM should call a tool, along with the expected results. This allows AI developers to create more versatile general-purpose AI assistants.
