Build a Debian ollama package
This project helps Debian-based system administrators easily install and manage Ollama, an open-source framework for running large language models locally. It takes the official Ollama releases and packages them into a Debian (.deb) file, providing a system service, a dedicated user, and documentation. System administrators who manage servers or workstations running Debian, Ubuntu, or similar distributions would use this.
Use this if you need to deploy Ollama consistently and reliably across multiple Debian-based systems and want it to integrate seamlessly as a system service.
Not ideal if you prefer manual installations from tarballs, are using a non-Debian Linux distribution, or only need Ollama on a single machine for quick, ad-hoc use.
