tychenjiajun/exif-ai
A Node.js CLI and library that uses OpenAI, Ollama, ZhipuAI, Google Gemini or Coze to write AI-generated image descriptions and/or tags to EXIF metadata by its content.
This tool helps photographers, marketers, and content creators automatically add useful descriptions and keywords to their image files. By analyzing image content with AI, it generates descriptive text and tags that are embedded directly into the image's metadata. This makes your photos easier to find, categorize, and use across different platforms.
Available on npm.
Use this if you have a large collection of images and want to efficiently add detailed, AI-generated descriptions and tags to their EXIF metadata for better organization and searchability.
Not ideal if you need highly specialized or subjective tagging that requires human insight, or if you prefer to manually curate every piece of metadata.
