This tool helps individuals who use American Sign Language (ASL) fingerspelling by converting their hand gestures into text. You input live video from a webcam or a pre-recorded video, and the system outputs recognized letters and numbers as words on a screen. It's designed for anyone learning or practicing ASL fingerspelling, or for use in applications where real-time fingerspelling translation is beneficial.

No commits in the last 6 months.

Use this if you need to translate ASL fingerspelling from video input into written text, either for learning, practice, or integration into a larger system.

Not ideal if you need to recognize full ASL signs (not just fingerspelling) or require extremely high accuracy for critical, real-time communication without a human in the loop.
