The Enhanced Database of Interacting Protein Structures for Interface Prediction
This database helps structural biologists and biochemists identify and predict how proteins interact with each other. It takes in protein structure data (PDB files) and provides processed features and interaction annotations, helping researchers understand protein binding and design experiments. Scientists studying protein-protein interactions would use this to investigate molecular recognition.
No commits in the last 6 months. Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need a comprehensive, pre-processed database of interacting protein structures to train machine learning models for interface prediction or to analyze protein interaction interfaces.
Not ideal if you are looking for a simple, out-of-the-box tool for visualizing protein interactions without needing to delve into data processing or model training.
