Shallow Recurrent Decoder for Nuclear Reactors applications
NuSHRED helps nuclear engineers and researchers accurately estimate the internal state of nuclear reactors from limited external sensor data. It takes in simulated or experimental reactor data (like temperature, flux, or velocity readings) and outputs a detailed reconstruction or prediction of the reactor's behavior, even in accident scenarios. This allows professionals working with reactor design, safety, and operations to better understand complex dynamics.
Use this if you need to reconstruct or predict the complex internal states of nuclear reactors using sparse external sensor measurements, particularly for molten salt fast reactors or experimental facilities like DYNASTY and TRIGA Mark II.
Not ideal if your primary goal is general-purpose data analysis or if you are not working with nuclear reactor systems and their specific transient data.
