Lung segmentation for chest X-Ray images
This project helps medical professionals or researchers automatically identify and outline lung regions within chest X-ray images. It takes a standard chest X-ray as input and produces a segmented image where the lung areas are clearly delineated. Radiologists, pulmonologists, or clinical researchers can use this to quickly analyze lung boundaries.

Use this if you need an automated way to accurately segment lung regions from chest X-ray images for analysis or further processing.
Not ideal if you require segmentation of other organs or abnormalities beyond the lung boundaries, or if you need to evaluate contour distances beyond simple overlap metrics.
