This project aims to classify sign language for numbers from 0 to 9 using different neural network architectures (FFNN - LSTM - CNN) and SVM. The goal is to create a sign detector that can recognize and translate sign language gestures to text.

Experimental

This project helps bridge communication gaps by translating hand gestures for numbers 0-9 into text. It takes images of sign language digits as input and outputs the corresponding number as text, making communication easier between deaf/hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing people. Teachers, caregivers, or anyone interacting with the deaf community could use this.

Use this if you need a system to recognize and translate sign language digits from images into a numerical text output.

Not ideal if you need to recognize a full range of sign language vocabulary beyond numbers, or if you require real-time video interpretation.
