MIDA-group/CytoBrowser
CytoBrowser, a JavaScript and Node.js driven environment for fast and accessible collaborative online visualization, assessment, and annotation of very large microscopy images.
This tool helps researchers and pathologists collaboratively view, assess, and annotate extremely large microscopy images directly in their web browser. You input whole slide images, including z-stacks, and can then add point or region annotations with labels and comments. The output is a shared, annotated view of your images, with annotations automatically saved and exportable.
Available on npm.
Use this if you need to review and mark up very large histology, cytology, or other microscopy images with colleagues, sharing specific views and annotations easily.
Not ideal if you only need to view small image files or if you require advanced image processing capabilities beyond annotation and basic navigation.
