MWod/DeeperHistReg
DeeperHistReg - Source Code
This tool helps researchers and pathologists precisely align high-resolution microscopy images, specifically Whole Slide Images (WSIs) or fluorescence microscopy images, even when they have different stains or were acquired with different equipment. It takes in two microscopy images (a source and a target) and outputs a warped source image that is perfectly registered to the target, allowing for accurate comparison and analysis. This is ideal for scientists, medical researchers, and histopathologists working with large-scale digital pathology images.

Use this if you need to automatically and robustly align large microscopy images, like pathology slides with various stains (e.g., H&E, ER, HER2) or fluorescence images, to enable comparative analysis.
Not ideal if your image registration needs are for general-purpose photography or smaller, non-medical image types, as this tool is specialized for robust microscopy image alignment.
