This project is aimed at detecting and recognizing Indian Sign Language (ISL) gestures in real-time using the Mediapipe library and Artificial Neural Network.
This tool helps bridge communication gaps by recognizing Indian Sign Language (ISL) gestures in real-time from a live webcam feed. It takes your hand movements as input and identifies the corresponding ISL sign, displaying the recognized gesture on screen. Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, interpreters, or educators learning ISL would find this useful for practicing or basic communication.
