Neuromorphic Bird Classifier Desktop App (NeuroBCDA) bundled with Live Event Camera Simulator
This desktop application helps ornithologists, bird watchers, or wildlife researchers automatically identify different bird species from a live webcam feed. It processes video input from your webcam, simulates an event camera stream, and then classifies the birds it detects. The output includes real-time identification of the bird species, along with logs, photos, and event videos of spotted birds.
Use this if you are interested in experimenting with neuromorphic computing for real-time bird classification using live camera feeds and want a desktop application for this purpose.
Not ideal if you require this application to run on Windows or macOS with full inference capabilities, as these operating systems currently have limitations.
