OpenSeizureDetector/OpenSeizureDatabase
This repository contains the toolkit to create and proocess the database of seizure and seizure-like data that has been contributed by OpenSeizureDetector users to contribute to research to improve seizure detection algorithms (Open Seizure Toolkit, OSTK).
This toolkit helps medical researchers and algorithm developers analyze anonymized seizure and seizure-like data. It takes raw JSON files containing patient data from the OpenSeizureDetector and provides tools to process, summarize, and extract insights from this data. The output includes summaries, visualizations, and processed datasets ready for developing and testing improved seizure detection algorithms.
Use this if you are a researcher or a student working on improving seizure detection algorithms and need access to real-world, anonymized seizure event data.
Not ideal if you are looking for a ready-made clinical diagnostic tool or a general-purpose data analysis platform for other medical conditions.
