This project is developed in Python and it proposes the development of a Bayesan Network to infer the probabilities of serious floods in the territory of the Italian region Veneto.
This project helps local authorities and emergency planners in the Veneto region of Italy assess the risk of severe urban floods. By inputting various local statistics, it outputs the probability of a flood occurring in different municipalities. Urban planners, emergency response teams, and regional government officials could use this tool for proactive disaster management.
