This is the GitHub repository for my Masters dissertation titled: Artificial Intelligence for Web Accessibility which I completed as a part of my MSc in Data Science course in the University of Southampton, UK under the supervision of Prof. Mike Wald
This project helps website content creators and accessibility specialists automatically generate descriptive text for images and identify meaningful hyperlinks. It takes raw website images and existing textual content, then outputs automatically generated alternative text for images and contextual labels for hyperlinks. The primary users are web developers and content managers aiming to make websites more accessible for visually impaired users and those who rely on screen readers.

Not ideal if you require highly nuanced, subjective image descriptions or advanced natural language understanding beyond basic contextual linking.
