SrLozano/Brain-Tumor-Radiogenomic-Classification
Brain Tumor Radiogenomic Classification task solved by Transfer Learning at Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech
This project helps medical professionals quickly identify a crucial genetic marker (MGMT promoter methylation) in glioblastoma brain tumors using only MRI scans. It takes standard MRI images (FLAIR, T1w, T1wCE, T2) as input and outputs a prediction about the presence of this genetic marker. This tool is designed for oncologists, radiologists, and neurosurgeons to aid in treatment planning.

Use this if you need to predict the MGMT promoter methylation status of a brain tumor non-invasively, without requiring a tissue biopsy.
Not ideal if you require 100% diagnostic certainty from imaging alone, as this is a predictive tool, or if you are working with different types of brain tumors or imaging modalities.
