PTRAIL is a state-of-the art parallel computation library for Mobility Data Preprocessing and feature extraction.
PTRAIL helps you quickly prepare and understand large sets of movement data, like GPS tracks from vehicles or people. It takes raw trajectory data, cleans it up by removing errors, fills in missing parts, and extracts important information such as speed or direction. This tool is ideal for researchers, urban planners, or logistics managers working with mobility patterns.
No commits in the last 6 months. Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need to process large volumes of trajectory data efficiently and extract meaningful features for analysis.
Not ideal if you are working with small datasets or do not require advanced data cleaning and interpolation for movement patterns.
