My code repository for my ICLR 2023 paper "Training language models to summarize narratives improves brain alignment"
This project helps neuroscientists and cognitive researchers analyze how different language models process narratives compared to human brain activity during reading. You provide preprocessed fMRI data from subjects reading a text, and the system extracts various NLP representations, aligning them with brain activity to measure how well the models predict brain responses. The output includes metrics like classification accuracy and perplexity, providing insights into brain-language alignment.
