This tool helps musicologists, archivists, or music educators automatically identify the primary instrument playing in a solo (monophonic) audio recording. You provide an unlabeled audio file, and it tells you which of six common instruments is featured, helping you organize or categorize your sound archives without manual listening. It's designed for someone working with single-instrument recordings.

Use this if you need to quickly categorize or label a collection of solo musical instrument recordings.

Not ideal if your audio files contain multiple instruments playing at once, as it is specifically designed for monophonic music.
